Of course, that means you were one of the wise ones who actually stayed inside during the storm, am I wrong?

I went out that morning before the wind picked up, but I did prepare for the worst if it became a blizzard... which it did. You learn to prepare for those kind of things when you live in the South Pole.

Oh, certainly. The weather can be most severe at the poles of the world.

[Guess who had been foolishly outside, Colonel! Well, something like that, anyway. Suffice to say, she wasn't in House 1 for the duration of the blizzard.]

[She sniffles a little, before speaking up.]

It never got this bad back in Keterburg, did it, Colonel?

Oh, we had quite a few severe blizzards when I was living there, and the storms are particularly fierce within the depths of Mt. Roneal.

But we're not in some huge, creepy mountain like Mount Roneal this time! And that blizzard was kind of scary.

My opinion is that our captors are absolutely horrible.

That's generally accepted fact now, Dist. However, that hardly relates to the topic at hand.

Of course it does! They forced me into that horrid storm!

Yes, because they clearly wanted to torment you in any way they saw fit.

I wasn't even aware you had been kidnapped.

[Guess who else had been foolishly outside. Oh well, it's not like it was any warmer in his comm housing room...]

I hadn't seen a blizzard like that in my world either. I'd prefer not to see another...

That may not be something you really have a choice in the matter of.

Of course not. But what else can we say? I can't imagine anyone enjoying being stuck inside during a blizzard...or outside, for that matter.

Speaking of the snow, I thought it might be a wise idea to organize some sort of group to help clear the paths and dig out houses before we get another storm. Would you be interested in helping with this?

I suppose I could offer my assistance with this.

Excellent. Your fonic artes will undoubtedly prove useful for melting the worst of the snow.
