Driving Lesson Number 2
Driving instructor Mike noted Maggie Lynn's kitten soft fur. Always a good start.
I went upwards of 25 mph! And no one died! Also, Mike did not have to use his brake pedal this lesson. Awesome. I drove on a real street with real cars, assholes and stop lights. I turned left! I turned right! I parked some! We talked about my height and the odds of me dying if the air bag were to deploy! And we sang "Eye of the Tiger."
Maybe I'm on my way to being a real adult?
I just wish I could practice driving between lessons. Also, I wish that Laurel and I could somehow have a learning to drive derby. I don't know what that would entail, but I know we would both be wearing aviator's goggles with decorative scarves. And our respective cats might be there. But only if they didn't make her sneeze. Of course, I'd be more likely to win (if winning is possible in this derby) if she was incapacitated with allergies...hmmm.
