Getting old
Lately I have been thinking about getting old, not because of a mid-life crisis or anything but because my 9 year old daughter told me she wanted to give me her money because I wasn't working and didn't have any. What a way to get figuratively bitch-slapped!! So now I am realizing that I don't have a retirement plan and that if I don't get it together, I will be one of those old people living in shoddy public elderly housing. Hopefully in 4 or 5 years I will have some kind of degree so I can start a career and a retirement plan. Until then, I will work where I can and grit my teeth and hope for the best.
