Home for the Holidays
Happy Holidays to everyone!
It's great to be back in the West Virginia for a few days. I haven't been home since last Christmas due to the broken leg.
Things haven't changed much, at least that I have seen so far. The cats don't remember me much, but I'm sure that they will warm up to me. Sebastian has always been my favorite and he runs if he sees me.
I have some errands to run, but I will get to see some of my friends while I'm in. I was planning to go to Ohio this morning to meet up with friends, but it's a long drive and I just got it. I shouldn't leave my parents this quickly. Plus I have a few gifts left to buy.
This is the time of year to be thankful. I'm glad to have a job with the terrible unemployment rate in Michigan. It's not a whole lot of fun, but it does pay pretty well. I'm thankful to have a car. I'd be more thankful if I could get my Prius, but I'm not sure what I should do yet.
I'm glad to have friends and family. I don't keep in touch with people as long as I should, so here is to doing that next year. Found my resolution!
