I hate moving. I hate the packing of all the junk and cleaning everything. I'm slightly depressed about moving from here too, even though so much crap is going on in this building. All the shitty renovations...the loudness...it's just too bad. Our apartment would have been really nice if everything was done properly. And I really like our view, especially from our bedroom window...we can see fireworks at The Forks from here, and the pretty horizon the buildings downtown make. But on the downside, there's no balcony here. Our new apartment has a huge one though...over 30 some odd feet. And we're on the 11th floor there, vs. the 7th here. It's also a 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom vs. 1 & 1. It doesn't look as modern or contemporary as here, but we're allowed to paint/decorate however we want there. And we're allowed to have cats...we're not supposed to have them here but we do anyway. We might even get a 3rd cat :D. There's also a gym downstairs, 2 hot tubs, a sauna, and tanning beds. And a pool we'll actually get to use, unlike here.

I hope I'll like living downtown. Kelly Fernandes and Pammy got an apartment at Colony Square just last week, which is right across the street from us also, so that will be good. Just as long as they don't have anymore crazy parties and get evicted. Anny lives about a 10 minute or so walk from us too. The YMCA is right next door to us, as is Portage Place Mall. It's not a super place to shop at, but it has a bookstore and a really cheap clothing place that has cool stuff, and a Giselle's spa so I can get my nails and stuff done.

Anyway...time to tidy up around here and get ready to go to mom's. It's her birthday today, even though she doesn't celebrate it.
