I can hardly believe it, but...
I got my reduction surgery scheduled for August 9th!!!!!! I am so unbelievably excited!
I went to my consult this morning, and the nurse I spoke to first explained the procedure and made sure I knew what would happen, and then did a quick examination and when I pulled up my shirt, first thing she said was "woah. those are really heavy." So yeah, they think I'm an ideal candidate, were very understanding when I told them my time constraints, and kept saying "I think this surgery will be really good for you, you'll feel so much better." They're sending a letter to my insurance co. on Monday, should hear back in two weeks, my pre-op is July 27, and my surgery is August 9. I'm still kind of in shock, I didn't really expect it to happen this fast. I thought I'd for sure have to do it during school or over Christmas... but they want me to have three full weeks recovery time with no real lifting, and they include school as "lifting".
...I'm practically gonna be a new person. I just can't believe this, I've waited for this for so long! Aaaagh so excited....
