I am so very proud of my sister today, well yesterday and today. At 4.20pm on April 6th my sister gave birth to healthy 8lbs 13onc baby boy, who has yet to be named. Already she'd posted images of him up on facebook (how gen y of her). I'll be visiting them in the hospital tomorrow afternoon and cannot wait to meet him. He looks just like his father, which isn't a bad thing. She already has a two year old daughter Mia, who of course is going to make an excellent big sister, just like I was to my younger brother when he was born.
It's wonderful having knew babies in the family, brings so much life and happiness to everything. And means it'll get the parentals off my back about settling down and having a family of my own. I'm only twenty-three and already I'm getting the "hurry up" looks from both my mother and father. But as I've told them a thousand times before I will not be having children until i'm at least twenty-seven, maybe even thirty. They will just have to settle for dotting on my sister and her new baby.
