I don't read books. I've read about 6 books in my whole life. Which may seem odd to some people considering how literal most of my friends are. But, yeah, I don't read books. I don't read them because it's difficult for me. I have mild dyslexia. Now, my dyslexia doesn't prevent me from reading like it can do with some people. I can read. I

In the interest of accuracy, I actually went and bought it for you about 20 minutes after we hung up from when you called me right after seeing Half Blood Prince. I was just completely blown away that they're leaving really important shit out of the movies and found it completely unacceptable that you wouldn't have the opportunity to experience the Harry Potter saga the way JK Rowling told it.

I'd thought about buying it for you before, last Christmas, and talked myself out of it. This time the idea of you sitting in a dim room listening to Stephen Fry telling you how it REALLY goes down was too much for me to say no to. I don't want to live in a world where Ashley doesn't have the Complete Harry Potter read by Stephen Fry. The fact that he actually signed it makes me even more thrilled that you now have that thing in your life.

I can't wait to hear what you think of it. Especially the last book. Which is, for my money, the absolute best of the series and what makes it go from being a great story to being a powerful piece of modern literature. Welcome! Enjoy!
