so it turns out there's a new iPod mini. i had ordered one either last week or the week before. i forget now. but in any case, i was expecting to pay for a mini that was $249 and that had an 8 hour estimated battery life. now it costs $199 and has an 18 hour battery life. i'll gladly sit and wait for it now. =) maybe now i finally realize why there were so many free iPod mini giveaways and such a shortage in stores.
