Frozen tush!!
Well I left work early enough to catch the bus up to the hospital yesterday..it finally showed up 13 mins late so by the time it had crawled up the hill I was 15mins late for my appointment!! Fortunately the Doc was running 10 mins late so once my prelim was sorted I only had to wait about 5 mins before he saw me.
I am taking the least agressive treatment of what was offered so I have to have an injection every month of a high dose of progesterone to control the pain. The expected side effect to this is weight gain!! So I will be watching what I eat for definate in the new year!
Getting back was farcical..it had got dark by this time and the temp had dropped to around -1'C so I waited for a bus which then took 45mins to go from the hospital to town..normally a 15min run..of course I had to get a bus where the heating did not bloody work. By the time I got into town the gentle flurries of snow had turned into icy cold rain and there was a wind blowing straight out of the frozen wastes!! So a VERY frozen assed Donna walked in the house to then be whimpering with hotaches of the fingers and toes!
