Summary: Sometimes it's only clear from the outside.
Author's Note: I had this thought nagging at me for a while, and though I'm not a big fan of JD, in the end, he did right by Dani, and so I started thinking about if he came back what that might be like, what he might expect/do, and this was what I ended up with. I thought it would be three scenes, but it didn't quite end there, so it became two parts. I'm just evil enough to break up the first section where I did. :P
