ITACHI'SSSSSS THOUGGGHHHTSSSSS . . . on dark chocolate v. milk chocolate d>:

He generally prefers dark chocolate. He likes that the bitterness evens out the sweetness some. Itachi enjoys sweets, but there's a certain moderation to it. He finds a lot of western treats and candies TOO sweet. He still likes trying them sometimes, but generally will only eat a couple of bites. And he likes milk chocolate well enough, but it often edges a little too close to "too sweet," so he usually won't eat more than maybe one piece at any given time.

Somehow, through the magic of camp, Mukuro and Itachi are forced to spend an entire day together. What does Mukuro want to do with this magical bonding time?

Mukuro would probably pick something very inane to do and then try to poke and prod Itachi into revealing something verbally during this time. He would probably also slip in an odd suggestion or two just to gauge Itachi's reaction. In the end though, it would probably be like their normal conversations.

Itachi's thoughts on current Naruto canon/timeline if he has any :?

He's not terribly surprised by the turn of events as he understands them. He expected Madara to make his move after his death. He expected him to find a way to get to Sasuke if he could. So while Itachi hoped that wouldn't happen, it doesn't surprise him that it did. Things are more or less going as Itachi predicted in his ideas of what a worst case scenario would be.

In camp, currently, he does find it stressful, though. The Konoha nin's stance on killing Sasuke makes sense, from an objective standpoint, but isn't something he can support because of his own perspective and personal bias. Which puts him at odds with the other ninja in camp. Which. Is kind of awkward.

How's Dietrich doing now that Isaak is around? :>

Dietrich has a COMPLICATED RELATIONSHIP. Shortly, Dietrich is both pleased and angry that Isaak is here. He is pretty irritated, but . . . Isaak is like. . . he and Cain have been the constants in Dietrich's life. Usually good constants and in some ways Dietrich enjoys. . . Isaak's. . . teachings. And Isaak usually lets him get away with things to an extent but he also hates hates hates being reminded of some things and Isaak knows all of his buttons etc. It will probably balance Dietrich.

Itachi's thoughts on Madara as a whole?

HAET!!1

Actually it's kind of complicated because in spite of his dislike and distrust of Madara, I don't think he was lying when he called Madara his mentor. I think he did learn quite a bit from Madara. I think he holds a certain amount of respect for him, because Madara was one of the founders of Konoha. And Itachi would have realized that Madara was still powerful and a threat, even if he was pathetic compared to what he once was. I think their relationship was probably built on a kind of mutual respect along with a great deal of resentment. I think they were stuck in a stalemate for almost a decade since Madara wasn't able to bring Itachi around to his way of thinking and Itachi wasn't able to kill Madara. There were probably a lot of mindgames, and I think their relationship has potential to be pretty twisted. But Itachi doesn't hate Madara because of that. He hates him mostly for what he wants to do to Sasuke and to Konoha.

Mukuro's favorite kind of chocolate.

His character bio just lists "chocolate" as far as I know, which is interesting since the other illusionists have more specifics added (like Mammon likes cheap chocolate XD) His least favorite food is spicy, however, so I assume that Mukuro likes a sweet milk chocolate, or a very mild chocolate!

Does Itachi know Hatter and Mukuro get on? I suppose get on isn't quite accurate, but you know.

Um. Well. He sort of figured out from his last thread with Mukuro that they had met and it. Seemed to put Mukuro in an ominously good mood. So he doesn't really know the details but he gets the impression that Mukuro seems to enjoy Hatter.

How much would Dietrich skeeve on Itachi if Itachi were to genderswitch?

HAHAHA A LOT but it would be wary skeeving. Because he isn't that retarded.

What was Itachi's IDEAL END!! for canon, unless I guess he had it...but...

Reply

necessaryevil January 14 2010, 03:20:39 UTC
Well, he kind of had it. I mean. That was the death he planned for himself. Depressing as it was. He accomplished everything in that fight that he wanted to and his death gave Sasuke power. So. But I guess IDEALLY his entire life might have been different and therefore his death might have been somewhat less sad. But then again, he's a ninja, and them dying tragically for what they believe in or what they care about is kind of a thing, so idk. Ninjas are retarded.

Would Mukuro really have been offended if Itachi had given him blue and yellow m&m's rather than red and green ones for christmas? XD

What are Itachi's thoughts on how he and Mukuro can get along well sometimes and other times... not.

Reply

necessaryevil January 15 2010, 02:56:25 UTC
It's...well. In a way it kind of makes sense to him. And in a weird way, it's comfortable. Because he spent the last 8 years of his life deep undercover in a criminal organization surrounded by people who were, ultimately, his enemies. So dealing with a relationship that has occasional amiable, as well as some nasty antagonistic elements isn't really that strange for him. And there are times when it's much easier to deal with Mukuro than the people who really care for him. Becaaaause Itachi has issues.

Pimp me some canons or characters or something. I'm looking for things to read/watch. |D

Oh, I read the first chapter or so of Number once awhile back. I was pinged by the guy with dark hair and red eyes and I don't have a type. :>

That question is actually difficult for me because I like a lot of cracky AU scenarios. And it might kind of depend on the characters in question. I think I'll always have a soft spot for high school and college AUs for some reason, though. SUPER CLICHE.

Same question back at you!

I love AUs which go around Large Events in someone's life. So like, if Mukuro hadn't killed his family, or whatever. It's fun to try and make the characters the same while being SO DIFFFERENNNNTT.

itachi gets a 5k shopping certificate to a mall, what does he buy.

necessaryevil January 15 2010, 03:52:21 UTC
Ohhh, yeah, those can be fun. I've always liked the idea of Naruto AUs in which the Uchiha Massacre didn't happen orrr where it happened but Itachi didn't have to keep his motives secret. But I actually don't read Naruto fanfic (except the badfic biz subjects me to), so I don't know how much I like how those scenarios usually work out in fic.

Man that's a hard one. He would fail at blowing a lot of money at once. He'd be inclined to buy necessities for himself. Clothes and such. Then he might buy stuff for other people. If someone were with him to encourage him to do something more fun with it he might listen, though, depending on his mood.

What is that icon from? :>
