I did the math today, and I realized why I've needed to be super frugal the end of this pay period (and need to be next month, too). The trip to Denver cost me about $1100. Wow. I didn't realize it was that much, but I knew it was a lot. That's what happens when you drink for 4 days straight in a far away place and eat out for every meal, plus rental car and travel. At least I didn't lose any vacation days because of all of the working.
Anyway, I've been boring for a the last couple weeks because, well, I've needed to save money. I made it my goal not to spend money this week, Monday through Friday. I've succeeded thus far. But last night when I kinda wanted to go to the wine bar while Megan was at a movie premier I didn't. I went home and read.
Okay. That's just a few thoughts. But I need to get back to work. I think I'm going to try to post more sometime in here. I kinda miss doing things other than lurking.
