Movie Meme!

Because my beloved bookofnicodemus  asked, and I can't say no to someone who has built me a shrine in the back of her closet. And also because my sweet fishyz9_ asked me to do the very same meme. *hugs both very tight*

BEWARE: I'm not a very movie-watching person... how ever did I end doing the job I do again? o.O;;

1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:
When I was very little, me and my parents recorded a ridiculous amount of films from TV. So yeah, I've something around 150 videotapes I never watch, and never have. ^^;; Then I bought myself a DVD-player and now am the proud owner of the astounding number of -egh- 10 DVDs. More or less.

2) The last film I bought:
"The Return of the King". =D

3) The last film I watched:
At Cinema: "Shi mian mai fu" from director Zhang Yimou. I think the english title was "House of Flying Daggers".
Last film I watched on DVD was the wonderful "Millennium Actress".
Last film watched on TV... ergh...I don't remember. Honestly! It was such a long time ago...

4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
In completely random order:
a) LOTR, the whole trilogy. Elves. Lots of Elves. Elves everywhere. Middle Earth is my true homeworld, let me tell you. *nods*
b) Hotaru no Haka (Grave of the Fireflies). I'm STILL crying over that movie. Setsuko... ç_ç

...I can't think of nothing else! Gah. I knew the box with those tiny characters moving inside it had some use... uh... okay, let's try...

c) AI. Because I love the angsty stories of emotional robots almost as much as I love fantasy and Elves.
d) Hero. Because of the shots. Because of the costumes. Because of the emotions it made me feel.
e) Full Metal Jacket. Kubrick is THE genius when it comes to direction. I studied this movie at school, and even thought it's very violent, I loved what Mr. Kubrick did with the camera.

5) Which five people are you passing the baton onto? And why?

Uhm... I pass the ball to everyone who's interested in doing this little meme! ^_^
