Still panicking, but I noticed I hadn't shared this here, so there: sleepy torches for your viewing pleasure. ♥
I was in a Torch-family mood yesterday, but rather than doodle something “flaming” and energetic as one’d expect from these characters, I went for something soft and blue and… well, sleepy.
Some Invaders stories (the latest being Cap&Bucky #622) depict our group of heroes camping in the snow. And if functioning in such harsh conditions is hard for normal soldiers, I can’t imagine how hard it’d be for the Torches; how lethargic and weary those *extremely* low temperatures would make them. I mean, yes, maybe Jim doesn’t even feel the cold, but I bet Toro gets cold really easily. And using a little portion of his powers to keep himself warm in the snow all the time is *bound* to make him exhausted.
I’ve got so many feelings for the Torches. And their relationship is so great. They’re like father and son, but not. They’re like brothers, but half the time you’re not quite sure which one is actually the old, wise one. They’re best friends, but also mentor and pupil, and the great part? Is that while Jim is teaching Toro how to wield his powers and be a superhero, Toro teaches Jim about being human.
