I was going somewhere with this, before Simon freaked and got all morbid. Not that he wasn't supposed to, mind you. But it shouldn't have happened this early in the narration. I'm a bit baffled as to how I'm supposed to steer this back towards the original direction - dreams in a loop, entwined with reality in such a way that they crush Simon as

Well, no, it doesn't look like getting too physical... and those two getting too physical to me is kinda... bleh. It's cute, I like all those pervy doujinshis... but the brotherly love is more my thing with them.

To me... *slwoly* ...well, it's complicated. I like them as they are in the anime and the manga: touchy-feely, needing each other very, *very* much. Two halves of a whole, like the two sides of the same coin - they complete each other. Not brothers, but MORE than brothers, without getting physical, if not for the much-too-frequent-to-be-called-occasional cuddle/touch/hug/forehead-touching-thing.
I don't much like the doujinshi with Kamina going down on Shota!Simon (or worse, Shota!Simon tempting and/or topping Kamina *SHUDDER*); but I do think that Simon had one HUGE crush on Kamina. It's totally canon. I mean, what with the way Simon blushed whenever Kamina touched him, the angst-fest he went in when Kamina kissed Yoko (*titters* it's SO wrong, but I adore that scene in the manga when Inner!Simon claims he wants revenge on Yoko for taking away Kamina from him XD), the way he reacted to Kamina's death, and later how he remembers him, etc.
What I DO like, however, is AUs where grown-up Simon gets to act on these feelings for Kamina. Which kinda puts me into a inconformtable position, since I do like Yoko and Nia, and the Simon/Nia, Kamina/Yoko pairings. XD;;

Uh, in fact, Simon in this ficlet *points* is supposed to be time-skip Simon, so he's already 20/21.

I've got a few, of course. XD But I'm always interested in doujinshi. And Doujinshi with Kamina and Grown-up!Simon sound particularly delicious at the moment. *purrpurr*

I think - no, I know I mentioned it somewhere in my LJ in thse past weeks, but my favourite AU setting *ever* - as in EVER - revolves around Simon taking Kamina with him when he breaks out of the Alternate Reality Labyrinth. *_______* I'm seriously in love with this setting.
A second-favourite is an AU where Kamina is the ASMessenger, instead than Nia. I'm also in love with the settings from Parallel Works #4 and #1 (but #4 takes the crown, it definitely does).

anyway, obviously the rin/Ren video is not about suffocationg or anything, but that scene *IS* the one that sticks to mind the most. It's another version of Meltdown, sung by both. Abnd I honestly like the duet version better than the Rin-solo version. *__*

I-uhm-have sort of a lot - and I mean A LOT - of doujinshi now in my library, but I'm not sure how many scanned/scanlated stuff I do have. I'll have to get back at you with details, but if you want, I can check if I'vew got something I could send over. :)

anyhow, all this talk about vocaloid makes me want to upload the screenshots of the Tamagotchi/Sims tinghie that is included in the PD game. It's such a ecchi thing - dressing the vocaloids up to later spy them in their bedroom - but they're SO CUTE. And there's a Ren plushie (currently on a shelf in Miku's room) that's friggin' adorable! XD
The PD game is also the reason why I've went and scoured youtube for vocaloid songs these last couple of days. Meltdown is a very good song, but I like almost all edits better than the original Rin's version. Her duet with her brother ranks pretty high in my favourite list, but Miku's techno mix, and the 14-vocaloids version are also quite addictive. ♥

Speaking of Vocaloids, I take back what I said about not liking too much Rin's version of Meltdown. It turned out that the version I had in my music folder and that I *thought* was the original Rin version was anything BUT.
I went to iroha site and download the original. Granted, I still like Rin's duet with Ren better that her solo, but it's GOOD!!
