A bit of this, a bit of that, a bit of everything...
AKA, random info of varying degree of importance from me. :)
- Serious update first: I went to see the cardiologist. He's actually impressed 'cuz my heart is in better shape than last time he saw it. O_O Doc feared this last stunt my blood pressure played on me could've caused damage but it seems that's not the case. :D
- Serious still: I got the a-ok from Boss to work at home, so I have been able to rest a lot this week. :]
- Still serious: even if I almost had to be *carried* there, I was so weak, I did take that exam (scratch the almost. I also had a fainting spell while in there). I know I answered 11 questions out of 12, but I also know that as I checked the paper over before handing it in I spotted loads of stupid mistakes. I guess I was too out of it to really make a good job. I'll let you know the results as soon as they'll be notified to me. ^^;;
- Serious-serious: the heath wave is HORRIBLE here. I'm frankly worried out of my wits for all those people I know, relatives and non, to whom heath can cause serious health problems/damage! D: Hopefully, temperatures are going to drop in the next few days. Is it THAT bad in your contries, too?
- Inbetween: I should REALLY get a move and update some art in here. That's what most people come on my LJ for, right? Besides, I adore feeding eyecandy to my friends. If I find the time, I shall scan/post all the X/Zero doodles I made on my textbooks/notes lately.
- Totally non-serious bit of data. XD;; You know, being stuck in bed gave me the time to get started on "Falzar", the latest Rockman game I acquired. And... and... and... and say what you will, but damn! if Blues isn't UTTERLY in love with Rock, no matter all that "I'm a badass man" talk of his. *squeals* Too bad Rock's oblivious to Blues's feelings, much more than he was in the previous game. *pouts* So far, the slashy player can only get his hopes up when Rock sets off to invite all his friends to go to the Expo together, and refuses to consider the task done until he's located Blues and invited him, too.
- Still going down the non-serious road: lately I took refuge in videogames and anime to pass the time. The other day, wanting to play, but not knowing what to pick, I went to check the shelf where I keep my PS2 and DS games and... suddenly felt like a total geek. *covers face with her palm* PIC *points at pic with her other hand* That's all Rockman games. And I don't keep my PS games on that shelf, either.
- On the same note as above: I finished seeing "Casshern", the remake of the beloved cartoon series of my childhood. I must say, this new series is impressive under each and every aspect, but it's got nothing at all to do with the original. The Casshern fan in me would probably had appreaciated it a lot more if the story wasn't so different from what I remembered. ...it wouldn't have hurt a thing if robots actually had metal and wires and clockworks inside of them. XD;; Nicest thing of all, I couldn't help but see similarities with Rockman Zero everywhere. *giggles* Oh! And I has an old fanart for it! Nothing fancy, but I'll try to post it later.
- Reaching the bottom of non-serious: ...I'm drawing het. O_____O;; You see, when I started working on the sketchbook, I'd decided to put in some original characters. And who better than a Red/Blue pairing of my own invention? But... skipping the long and boring details, thanks to my LOVE for drawing costumes/outfits, my addiction to details, a small qui-pro-quod and the prodding from some friends, the potentially yaoi couple has become potentially het. *shrugs* I say "potentially" because I always tended to envision the bottom of the pair more of an hermaphrodite than anything, even from the very start. It's just that a first "he" looked male, and now "she"'s boyish and all, but "she"'s got breasts. XD;;
