"Someone" commented on my last sketch saying it desperately needed a companion piece. That seemingly innocent comment set off a huge landslide of creativity, and not only I made the companion piece, but I also put the two sketches together, and made a third thing. ♥
Now, the pic was admittedly a pain to make. o.O;; As inspired as I was, drawing the muscles of the back is hard for me. >.< (well, the UPPER portion of the back... *LOL*). The sheet of paper suffered a lot under the rubber, but in the end something rather pleasing came out. I don't think I like any of the three pics above the others... but I do like, and much, the effect of all three taken together, or seen in sequence. ♥ ;oD
It's as though X and Zero are together and separate at the same time. As though they're in different time and places, but are still connected somehow, and X is able to comfort Zero even without being there...
