So Long, and Thanks....
I just said good bye to a friend, who is moving away from San Diego tomorrow to be with her boyfriend in San Francisco. This makes me kinda sad, because I won't have a buddy who I can just call and say, "Hey! Brianne! Wanna go do something?" to anymore. I'll miss her cats. And I'll really miss her shihonage.
I just got back from her final performance in the National Comedy Theater (think Comedy Sportz), and her last performace was a good one. In some ways, we said our good byes last night, after aikido and sushi. But for some odd reason, it was the look in her eyes tonight that really told the tale: she will miss us, too. But that's OK. We'll miss each other. That'll give us some impetus to find ways to see each other again.
