Private vs Public same for Poor

Here is a link that says I am wrongBut in this report it says parental involvement it key to success. Who cares more? A parent who will pay more money than is needed for a childs education or one who has it forcibly removed by the government ( Read more... )

You are making HUGE generalizations here. My highschool class made history, for every semester of every year we broke the record of how many student were on Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, and Academic Achievement. I had around a 93/94 average and was close to being OUT of the 25th percentile. Our Valedictorian and Salutorian had like a .01 difference. This is a PUBLIC highschool, with 400 students in my class, paid for by tax dollars. And you know what? I got a better education that just about any, minus one, private school in our area. Many said this was due to personal drive and intelligence, which it probably way partly. Others said that due to the high parental involvement, which not only includes volunteering but showing up for concerts, musicals, and games ( ... )

I said "will" not can. A parent willing to pay is an involved parent. Not necessarily able to pay.
