Jetlagged feeling is gone now. Hurrah!
My physio has okayed an increase in distance and so I went for a 3 mile run first thing this morning. The sun was shining and although it was hard work - you lose your stamina in a nanosecond when you lay off for a little while, *poof* and it's gone - it felt good and I feel good now. Hamstring seems okay and hopefully we are getting somewhere with this damn injury.
I'm also reading a book about fell running and can understand the allure of the
Bob Graham Round - 60 odd miles and 42 peaks in 24 hours. P's plan is to do it before he is 42 (obviously). But he will have a fair few marathons under his belt by then. I still need to do my first - London in 2009?
