Swans
Small boy was complaining that some children in his class had said that doing ballet was "girly" - so I went to the youtubes to find him some clips of male ballet dancers looking very ungirly indeed. And while we were there, we found this, from Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake.
P and I had the privilege of seeing this production a good few years ago. Male dancers as the swans works wonderfully - they have the power and ferocity of swans - and it is an incredible, witty and very moving production.
Small Boy and I have also made chocolate rice krispie buns today - because they are one of the best sort of bun there is. I did the cooking and Small Boy was Spoon-Licker-in-Chief.
