Very cold here today - thick layer of frost and some nice freezing fog. Visibility down to about 100 yards.
But I needed to go for a run, so set off, complete with gloves, reflective bib and 2
buffs, 1 for my neck and one converted to a beanie hat.
It was bloody cold but enjoyable. I hadn't run that far for a couple of weeks. And the exercise does warm you up. However, when I got in, I glanced at the mirror and was somewhat surprised and amused to see that my hair had frozen.
Yes. My hair froze. There were little clumps of icy crystals around my hairline which were presumably frozen sweat. Bizarre. I have never seen such a thing before.
Rang P to tell him and he was disappointingly unimpressed. Spoilsport.
