well, the last half hour of Howl was pretty fucked up and rushed too, and I feel that Spirited Away is just a tad over-rated. Really, I think Princess Mononoke is the last film of his I'd consider a "masterpiece" through and through, so I can't say I'm very surprised at this outcome. -Yamato

Agreed, I liked Spirited Away a lot, but Monoke was truly his greatest work. Actually I think I'm one of the few people that actually enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle. Granted I've only seen the dub, which I've heard is an improvement over the Japanese version.

I took my little cuz to see it and it was actually pretty well done.

if true what do you think of the possibilty of the anime titles they neutered of being liberated by other companies?

Yeah, I saw that. Personally I don't think anything in terms of anime will change for 4Kids. The company will simply have a new owner, they wont lose their licenses. & those in charge of the anime stuff will likely maintain their positions, meaning likely nothing will change.
