Isn't fun to watch Bandai repeat Geneons' FUBAR again? Releasing JAPANESE centric anime in America worked real well for those guys... Right?

Wait. Why haven't we been seeing anything else come out from Geneon recently?!

I pleaded (and emailed directly to their website)with them to not release 'Lucky Star' because of this very same reason and was ignored. How they doing with that one now? Selling like hot cakes? I mean, even though the entire show revolved around JAPANESE girls with JAPANESE problems with the odd quirk here and there should roll over the AMERICAN audience like fish to water...

Right?

Wait, we watched the series and I'm sure you're not Japanese just like me and Nebs aren't. So what's the problem?

He's just saying because of how Japanese-centric the series was, it wouldn't sell well to American audiences. & as it so happens, he was right.

Well if they would have said it in a less Otaku like way, I'd understand it more.

To be fair, Bandai's using a different tactic for Kannagi. By only releasing the series online, it's sort of like doing a "print on demand" job. This way they don't have to worry about printing tons of copies that will never sell, which saves them costs on distribution.
