Funimation Rescues Heat Guy J
FUNimation held a Guess-the-Show pictionary event on their blog, in which they drew the above pic in order to have fans guess what their newest anime license was. As was guessed pretty quickly, the answer was "Heat Guy J." Technically it's not a new license, as the series was previously released in the US by Geneon Entertainment. But as has been the case for the past year, Funi played the role of knight in shining armor to Geneon's damsel in distress.
The 26 episode series comes from the creators of Escaflowne, & even aired on American TV several years ago on MTV2. An entire series box-set will go on sale later this year.
