Fans Continue to Wait for New Haruhi
It's been forever since the second season of "the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" was first announced, & awhile still since the last time we got any new info on the series. But once again Newtype is teasing us by saying more information will be revealed in their next issue. Is it actually important info this time around, or just more pointless stuff in order to keep stringing us followers of Haruhi-ism around?
At this point we're starting to loose hope. It's very unlikely that the series will be able to debut in the Spring season at this rate. Originally hopes were for it to debut in Fall 2008, & when news had yet to come out by last summer, our expectations were changed to Spring 2009. But now, we best better hope for Fall 2009.
The second season of the main anime isn't the only Haruhi anime suffering from delays. News is that the Haruhi-chan online series hasn't begun production yet either. It might not even debut this year at all, but the year is still quite young so we can't assume as much just yet. We're in for a long wait on all fronts, Haruhi fans.
