Funimation Sends Cease & Desist Letters
FUNimation has recently started sending out cease & desist letters to fansubbers on behalf of the shows' Japanese owners. Several of which have aired on NebsTV in the past even. The titles include Evangelion: 1.0 You (Are) Not Alone, Soul Eater, Spice + Wolf, Mushi-Uta, & My Bride is a Mermaid!
Though as usual, it should be pointed out that just because Funi is sending these letters out, that doesn't mean the titles are necessarily licensed. Or maybe they are, but just not by Funi. Who knows? It'd be weird to see the new EVA movies go to anyone but ADV, but considering the rough year they've been having, maybe not so much.
