As of this week, the Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsumeawase CD has stayed on the Oricon weekly top-200 chart for Japanese singles for the 100th week in a row. It is the first ever CD of its kind (one voiced by Japanese seiyuu) to do so in history. The CD itself features fan-favorite songs such as "God knows…" & "Lost my music" as well as "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu," all featured in the anime series.

When the CD debuted 2 years ago, it ranked as high as #5 on the weekly charts. More recently the CD has begun to sell better then usual, jumping from #185 to #167. Over 136,000 copies have sold since its debut. The CD has also been release in America courtesy of Bandai Entertainment, & even came packaged with the special edition version of the fourth DVD. Sales of that version, however, aren't included with the Japanese numbers.
