Good point, I had forgotten about that. But after doing some research, it turns out that the new Beyblade series, currently titled "Metal Fight Beyblade!," has been pushed back to an early 2009 premier. The new toys should start coming out in Japan by the end of this year.
I'm sure I'll end up watching Ikkitousen and Zero no Tsukaima since you'll put it up here. I may wait for the US version of the Pokemon movie. Mostly because I was right about the cover mascot. I'll also be waiting for the Mai-Hime and Lucky Star OVA. Mostly because you were right about that first one and that's why I watch whatever you say. Because usually, you're right.
cover mascot? You mean Shaymin? I think a lot of people could see that coming from a mile away, mainly because they tend to use the movie to get the giveaways for promotional Pokemon out of the way (Arceus will no doubt star in the next one).
As for Nebs usually being right... I am quite a loyalist towards this site (mostly due to a devoted track record stemming from my days when I had shitty computer that couldn't even play AVI files properly and this was one of the only places I could rely on for anime), but I gotta admit, some of the stuff he's put up in the past has been kinda... ick. I still stand by my opinion that Venus Versus Virus wasn't that great. Also, I can't really appreciate DearS for having such a "read the manga if you wanna know how the fuck all these loose ends tie up" conclusion (though I guess a lot of short adaptions of manga that're still in the middle of running end up like that. I wish more companies could go the FMA route and at least TRY to make a worthwhile conclusion on their own T_T). -Yamato
Nope. Giratina. The Ghost/Dragon of the other world. Platinum is the next game. And Arceus is obviously in the next one. He's the great high grand poobah of poke-religions.
Haven't watched VVV yet and I don't think I saw DearS but, most of the time, he's right.
wait, are you talking about how you saw Giratina being featured in the movie, the game, or both? Because given its similarities to Dialga and Palkia, a lot of people saw it being the mascot of the third game too (albeit nobody saw "Platina" coming... most assumed it'd be "Girasol", a type of opal). -Yamato
