Bleach Character Popularity Poll

Move over, Yakitate Japan. It's Bleach's turn to hold its character popularity poll, as voted on by the readers of Shonen Jump in Japan. The latest chapter covered the top 10 favorites with the most votes, while the next issue will go over some more. In the end, over 90,000 votes were cast. The top 3 shouldn't be surprising, as they've pretty much been that way since the beginning of the series.

What was surprising, including to even me & seemingly Bleach author Tito Kubo as well, was that Hinamori came up all the way at #6. Now Hinamori is my favorite character & I would've voted her given the opportunity, but I still can't believe she's this popular with others. & the reason why Kubo is probably surprised as well is because he often uses Kon as his mouthpiece for what he's thinking. & when Kon is counting down the top 10, he really only reacts to Hinamori's placement on this list & is unmistakably shocked by the results (& then proceeds to tell her to get back to bed for her health's sake).
