Japanese Anime Rankings
We've talked about before how many regular programs in Japan take breaks during the last few weeks of the year because of the holiday season. Well never was this more true than the final week of 2007, as barely any of the top 10 regulars had episodes that week. This of course was good news for other series to crack into the top 10, which usually would be hard to do. So I myself & I'm sure most Nebs Blog readers would be please to hear that this caused none other than Yu-Gi-Oh GX to make a very rare appearance on the list! That's right people, GX came in at #7 this time, even beating the likes of Bleach. But the top-spot was still held by regulars- Doraemon & Shin-Chan teamed up that week to form a 150-minute winter special, so there's little surprise that it came in as number one. Repeats of the popular baseball manga Major got the next two spots, as fans rev up for the new season that's about to start:
