Following the heels of the announcement of a live-action Teen Titans movie as well as a live-action He-Man film, Warner Bros has now announced that they're working on a live-action Thundercats as well. Thundercats is the classic 1980s action cartoon that had an anime feel to it before anime even really took off in America. The above video is actually the "lost opening" for the series. According to the Daily Variety:
"Sopocy has written the script as an origin story expanding on the major heroes and villains from the animated series, with the plot focusing on Lion-O coming of age as the leader of the Thundercats."
