Duke Nukem
One of the best games from the 1990s was Duke Nukem. & obviously when a game is good & sells well, a sequal will be following. On April 25, 1997 it was announced that the sequal to the game, called Duke Nukem forever, was officially in the works. Nearly 10 years later, they're STILL working on the game. It's supposed to come out be the end of this year. Of course, they've saying that for years now. A lot has happened in the world since "Forever" was announced, & one site decided to keep tabs. Here are some of the highlights of the list:
-Over 75 games based in the Mega Man universe, and 12 games featuring Mega Man universe character cameos were released.
-The Voyager 1 spacecraft has travelled 8.8 billion miles from Earth.
-19 wars have begun. 5 wars have ended.
-Every single Grand Theft Auto game (13 of them!) was released.
-Over 350,000,000 consoles and handhelds were sold worldwide.
-Valve (the company making Duke Nukem) released both Half-Life 1 and 2, with several expansion packs and countless mods for each.
