K-ON Dub Trailer & Release Info
It looks like Bandai Entertainment is finally prepping for their release of K-ON! They recently released a trailer online, giving us our first look at what English dubbed K-ON sounds like. Well, our first look at the American English dub, not that other dubbed version. For the most part, I like what I hear so far. Though I do wonder what ever happened to that live-action viral marketing campaign that Bandai first talked about.
Bandai also revealed release information on the first disc. It'll go on sale April 26, & will retail for $29.98 for the DVD version & $34.98 for the Blu-ray version, though the official Bandai Store has them at a pretty good discount right now. Strangely absent though is Bandai's previously announced limited edition versions, making me wonder if those are still even being planned. I really hope so, as that's what I was planning to purchase.
Finally, you can check out the official American cover art for the first volume below. Fans are hoping that Bandai will decide to use the pink jewel cases used for the Japanese Blu-ray releases, though indications so far is that they sadly wont.
