Funimation to Stream DragonBall Z

Jan 06, 2011 22:36

FUNimation has done a good job building up their streaming online library, both in terms of simulcasts & catalog titles. At this point, nearly every FUNimation title ever is viewable on their website. But one notable exception has always been the DragonBall franchise. Well, no longer! FUNi has announced that they'll begin streaming DBZ starting next Saturday night at 8:30, as a lead-in to their One Piece simulcasts (similar to how Kai airs right before One Piece on Japanese TV). Each episode will be streamed with both an uncut English dub version & a subbed Japanese version.

"Z" is also only the beginning. The original DragonBall series, DragonBall GT, & even DragonBall Kai will also be streamed as well. No mention if the Kai episodes will be simulcasts from Japan or if they're gonna start from the beginning. But considering that Kai is nearing its end in Japan, I'd bet on the latter.
