Top-Selling Manga Volumes of 2010

Dec 13, 2010 21:06

We already took a look at the top-selling manga series in Japan for 2010, but this time we're here to take a look at how the individual volumes sold. Naturally, One Piece conquered all. What is a bit surprising is that for the first time in years, the #2 selling manga volume didn't go to the sensational shoujo series "Nana." In years past it always came in second place behind only OP. Of course the reason for its absence is because there was no new Nana manga published this year. Manga-ka Ai Yazawa has always been prone to long breaks in between volumes, but this has been the longest yet, with now being well over a year since the last one came out.

Duplicates are removed from this list, so that only the top selling volume for each series is listed. For example, while One Piece grabbed all top five spots with different volumes, it'll only be listed once as the top seller. Check out the top titles below:

  1. One Piece #59
  2. FullMetal Alchemist #25
  3. Nodame Cantabile #23
  4. Naruto #49
  5. Kimi ni Todoke #10
