Power Rangers Samurai Preview

Power Rangers & Nickelodeon are really ramping things up for their premiere of the brand new 18th season of the series early next year. The new season, based on the 2009 Japanese series "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger," will be titled "Power Rangers Samurai." Nick aired a first look at the new show over the Thanksgiving weekend, which you can check out for yourself above. So far things look pretty good. The Power Rangers franchise seems to have a breath of much needed fresh air now. Considering how disappointing Disney's versions came after Dino Thunder, I'm sure many a fan are looking forward to this new vision laid out by Saban & Nickelodeon.

The official Power Rangers website has also been prepping for this. For the past few weeks it's been hosting 145 Days of Power Rangers, showing all 145 episodes of the original series- one each day- leading up to the premiere of "Samurai" this February.
