Saimoe 2010: Round 2, Day 6

Sep 19, 2010 22:20

Winners: Nodoka (Saki), Kurimu (Seitokai no Ichizon)

In the "Saki" three-way (now there's a mental image), not only did Nodocchi beat the Captain, but she did so by a healthy margin of nearly 100 votes. Yay Nodocchi! Too bad the "Saki" faction had to lose two others in the process, though. Kurimu's victory against a different Saki, this one from "Kanamemo," was a bit more challenging, but she still won by a good amount of votes. Full results:

C3
1st 378 Nodoka Haramura @ Saki
2nd 279 Mihoko Fukuji @ Saki
3rd 129 Hajime Kunihiro @ Saki

D1
1st 356 Kurimu Sakurano @ Seitokai No Ichizon
2nd 286 Saki Amano @ Kanamemo
3rd 124 Wilhelmina Carmel @ Shakugan No Shana

Saimoe is taking a one day break, but when it returns tomorrow, we got the contestants with the second & third highest vote count from Round One competing in different groups. On the one side we have second-place Kanade from "Angel Beats" up against Nagato from "Haruhi Suzumiya" & Lisa from "Sacred Blacksmith." While I'll be supporting the adorable Lisa, Kanade's victory here seems assured.

The other side has me more worried. It features third-place Mafuyu from "Seitokai no Ichizon" up against Saki from "Saki" & Rima from "Shugo Chara!" Man, I really don't want Saki to lose this early (she was my favorite to win last year), but she's really got an uphill battle here against Mafuyu. I mean, she beat Hinagiku for crying out loud. Knowing the "Saki" faction though, they wont go without a fight. Come on, Saki!
