Beyblade Metal Fusion US Premiere Scheduled
After knowing that Canada's YTV will be airing Beyblade: Metal Fusion on May 15 & that it'd eventually follow sometime in the US on Cartoon Network, we finally have a solid date for CN's premiere of the series! Best of all, we wont have to wait until Fall like initially thought- Saturday June 26 at 7:30am is the day!
Besides that, the official English website for Beyblade has also recently reopened. The new site gives you all the information you need to know about the Metal Fusion series. Video of the opening credits, a trailer, & a music video/commercial are included. Four different Flash games are playable, & there's a few downloadable goods (such as wallpaper) as well.
Most important of all is that we have confirmed dub names for the characters! Unfortunately it looks like Ginga's English name is officially Gingka, but the way they pronounce his name the "k" is barely noticeable. It sounds more like Jinga than anything else, which is unfortunate. Besides the main protagonist getting his name slightly changed, antagonist Daidoji is having his name changed to simply Doji. But all is not lost, as Kyoya, Benkei, Kenta, Madoka, & Ryuga are all keeping their names the same. Make sure to check out the new site & all the good stuff here:
