Sora no Otoshimono Gets 2nd Season
Kadokawa Shoten recently started reprinting the earlier volumes of their fan-service manga Sora no Otoshimono, due to the success of the recent anime adaptation. & included with these reprints was a special wrap-around jacket that announced a second season of the anime series! The first season concluded in December, though no date is given as to when exactly the second season will air. A Fall 2010 date seems most likely though.
Separately, it was later revealed that the previously postponed "too hot for TV" OVA episode has now been dated. The OVA episode will now be packaged with a special edition version of the ninth manga, which is due to go on sale in September in Japan. Packaging exclusive episodes with manga has become quite popular these past few years, with other notable series doing it include Negima, Kodomo no Jikan, Kiss x Sis, & Aki-Sora.
