Top 10 Anime Movies of the Year
Dengeki recently polled its readers in Japan, asking them what their favorite anime movie was of the past year in anime. Mind you, a new "anime year" begins with the Spring season (April) & ends with the Winter season (through March). So while this mostly encompasses 2009, the first few months of 2010 are included in there as well. That doesn't change the fact though that the top film is from 2009, & it hands down beat all the other competition:

- Tales of Vesperia - The First Strike

- Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights in the Sky are Stars
