Gonzo Returns for Druaga Game Opening
Gonzo has seemingly come back from the dead in order to animate the opening for the new MMORPG video game "the Tower of Druaga- the Recovery of BABYLIM." The game is a sequel to the anime series from last year & stars the characters Gil & Ki trying to restore the tower after Druaga's defeat. The game itself is expected to look quite different from the original 1984 game that launched the franchise.
The animation staff of the two Tower of Druaga anime series were actually reassembled by Gonzo in order to create the game's opening, which can be seen above. Composer Hitoshi Sakimoto also returned to do the music. So has Gonzo returned from the dead? Is this the beginning of their comeback? Ehhh, probably not unfortunately.
