Top 10 Anime Themes of the Decade

The Nebs Blog isn't the only place looking back at the past decade in anime. Liz Ohanesian from LA Weekly has compiled a list of the top ten anime theme songs of the past ten years. Topping the list is "Inner Univere" by Yoko Kanno, the opening theme to Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. You can check out the other nine results below:

Really, apparently she hasn't looked over every single one from the decade then. "Inner Universe" is good, but it's definitly not fantastic. Where exactly is "I'll Be The One" by H/\L? Or more recently, "Sign" by Flow? Oh, and to top my complaints, where is "Everlasting Snow" by dream? (The best Japanese song I've ever heard.)

This range is assuredly limited.

If you want a bigger range, go to an anime magazine.

Whoever picked these has to be mentally ill. 1, 5, 7 are decent, 9 is the only one that even deserves to be on there, the rest art just terrible songs. 2 and 3 seem horribly inappropriate and don't fit with the intro.
