Shugo Chara Encore Manga Announced
A few weeks ago the January 2010 issue of Nakayoshi magazine announced that its long-running Shugo Chara manga would be ending in the following issue. Well the February issue is now out, & while it does contain the final chapter of Shugo Chara as we know it, it also reveals that a new sequel manga is next.
Beginning in the April issue, "Shugo Chara! Encore!" will launch with its first chapter in the magazine. No word yet on how this new series will differ from the original. Personally, I'd like know what the purpose was for a "new series" to start when it seems that things will pretty much stay the same. The February isue of Nakayoshi will go on sale at the end of February 2010 in Japan.
