You know it must be a slow news day when LA Weekly does an article on a doll based on Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann. If you've ever gone to an anime convention, chances are you've seen these type of ball jointed dolls around. Some fans- well, a certain kind of anime fan- really love carrying these things around. Personally I think they're creepy as hell. This one of Yoko is far from the worst of them. Not only that, but I've expressed before how much I
don't like joints on my anime figurines, so this is just a no-go for me all over.
So whatever reason they concentrated on this one of Yoko. This replica in particular is made from a Dollfie Dream doll, which are known for having customizable & soft breast sizes. So essentially you can make Yoko's chest as big as you wanted, though since this is Yoko we're talking about you can't really over do it anyway.
& the cost for this Yoko doll? She originally pre-sold for $726, but can be found on eBay for more than $1200. Who pays that kind of money for this?!
