Saimoe 09: Round 3, Day 6
Winners: Minori (ToraDora), Taiga (ToraDora)
A ToraDora sweep? Two sweep days in a row?! While I figured that Taiga would advance, I'm really surprised Minori managed to beat Hamster. Actually, Minori somehow got more votes than Taiga did. & just like that, another powerhouse series falls & a new one emerges. "Hayate" had done surprisingly well throughout the tournament so far, but it all crumbled when "K-On" emerged from the depths to become a powerhouse & beat the queen Hinagiku. Now with today's double loss, "ToraDora" joins "K-On" as a newly established powerhouse, & "Hayate" joins "Clannad" as being a former one that is now nearly dead. But just like "Clannad," the "Hayate" series has one hope left. The 6 Trillion Yen Girl herself, the one & only Ojou-sama, Nagi! Of course she doesn't have things going easy either, as she'll soon have to face off against Saki. Full results:

Tomorrow we have to deal with one of the two tie victories from the last round. It's a three-way battle between Nagato (Haruhi), Haruhi (Haruhi), & Eruru (Utawarerumono). Unfortunately I just don't think Haruhi will be able to win this, given her lackluster results in the tournament thus far. Nagato will most likely wind up winning, unless split votes cause her to fall to Eruru that is.
The second match is much more simpler. It's Nodoka (Saki) vs Miyako (ef). As much as I like Miyako & her series, she doesn't stand a chance at winning against Nodocchi. The real question is, how badly will she actually beat her.
