Megami Deluxe 13
It's time once again to take a look back at the best Megami posters of the past 6 months! Of course while the Megami DX mooks are pretty much entirely made of old material, each one does include a brand new giant pullout poster that can't be found in the regular issues of the magazine. While it's fitting to have K-On on the cover of the 13th DX issue since it was indeed one of the top series of the past half year, it was another fan-favorite that got the giant poster treatment. Saki:
These long & thin closet posters actually render the two main stars of the series in full 1:1 ratio, meaning they're life-size. Of course the art only starts partially up their body, so the the poster itself isn't tall enough to to truly let them be life-size. Still though, it gives you an idea of what it'd actually be like to have Saki or Nodoka in front of you. Compare this to the Saki dakimakura from the second DVD, which didn't quite depict girls in a 1:1 ratio:
Now moving on to the poster sections. The first part is the K-On Collection, a couple pages devoted exclusively to the moe series:
Saki gets the same treatment, with its own Saki Collection:
The next part is titled "Girls of Swimwear." Should be obvious what to expect from here:
The next section is literally titled "Nude! Bath!! It's Paradise!!!" Expect nudity, bathing, & some paradise:
& finally it's the biggest section of the magazine, "Costume & Uniform Collection." Basically you can just consider this the miscellaneous section of the mook:
