The Republican's Core Constituency are inbred psychotic rural Christians who hate everyone and everything, especially if it's 'brown'. They'd kill the real Jesus if they ever met Him.
Each groups hates the other with a fanatic and unbridled passion and there is zero middle ground. It's mutual American Jihad.
Independents? Eh...they'll never get the money to make a real dent. Poor Bernie is a Voice in The Wilderness and he's not going to last much longer.
Third Parties? They'd get bought out [or crushed] as soon as they got anywhere.
