If we had a revolution within this next decade the probably outcome would be a militant Christian Fascist dictatorship in Washington, and believe me, you do not want one of those. The fallout from that type of insanity would singe your eyebrows even all the way down there in Namibia.

Totally, completely, dishearteningly correct. I live with these people too...except even more so. At least you're in a blue state. I am in the most ignorant, most psycho-religious state there is, except maybe Mississippi. These people would never rally for true populism, but it wouldn't take much to get them to kill their neighbors for Jesus.

Yes, but up in Red Jebus country. Our Congresscritter is Kevin McCarthy, one of the GOP's Young Guns and their #3 in The House. His seat is so secure the Dems haven't even bothered to run anyone against him these past three terms.
